Flower Crowns

You know those dreamy floral crowns you see at coachella? The ones tall lanky blonde models in ethereal white dresses float around in. They are of course made of real flowers, but real flowers die oh so quickly without any water. Hell my bridal bouquet barely made it through 3 hours of photos outdoors in humid DC, can you imagine in the desert? Well I decided it was high time I made one, but out of paper flowers in blushy shades. Make your own or buy it from my Etsy store!
I think the look would be great for a boho vintagey woodland wedding. I can just imagine a bride skipping through a beautiful forest with a crown of flowers on her head (and no worries about wilting)!

Oversized Paper Flower

I've been dyeing more paper lately and decided to add some more flowers to my Etsy store here. I made a deep raspberry shade and what I really love is the gradual fading of the petals into a lighter shade toward the edges.

scalloped bikinis

I've loved the delicacy and girliness of scalloped bikinis since seeing the white chloe set a few years ago, but it did sell out rather quickly. I then fell in love with the Marysia Swim Antibes Scallop Bikini but never pulled the trigger. Then recently I discovered the h&m version and immediately ordered it. The bottom is especially adorable and I can't wait to wear the set this summer!
